My birthday is October 28th and this year I turned 28! So, it was my golden birthday. I'm not sure if that is just a northern thing or just a South Dakota thing but no one in Texas had ever heard it called that. Link was sweet and gave me flowers as did my parents. A mom from our youth group makes cupcakes for a living (which I had just found out about the weekend before my birthday) so she made me a dozen peanut butter cupcakes with chocolate frosting. They were AMAZING!! We also have a middle school Bible study at our house on Monday nights and she brought 2 dozen cupcakes for that as well. They were really cute.

Hi there! Where are you in getting through with PT school?! I assume close? :)
Yeah! you update. Great to hear what is going on with you. And I have never heard it called a golden birthday either. Hope to see you soon, we will be in Lubbock for Thanksgiving.
I'm glad you posted. Sounded like a fun trip.
I am in shock. Thanks for all the errands you ran for me today. Love you.
It's about time! I took you off my links when I moved my blog, b/c I thought you were done. Glad your back!
Hey Monica,
So glad to hear something from you! ;) I hope you had a great golden birthday! (I had also never heard that before). Love ya!
Hey Monica and Link! I don't think I've ever visited your blog before.
I saw your post about Brandon and it brought back so many memories! I remember when Jake & I first met Link and Brandon when they were still in HS out at Pine Springs. I never think about one of them without being reminded of the other. Please tell your husband and Brandon that we said hello!
I'm looking forward to catching up on you guys! I'll be checking your blog now!
